The Trans-KTP 17, 22, 27 and 34 T construction dump trailers are designed for tough work. Thanks to their sturdy design (HARDOX 450), their durability is guaranteed. The double-axle models are standard fitted with the JOSKIN Cross-Over bogie and the 27/65 TRM / 34/72 TRM with Hydro-Tridem hydraulic suspension. ALPINA2 Narrow Machine


The chassis of the JOSKIN Trans-KTP 17, 22 and 27 T dumtrailers is 900 mm wide and can therefore be fitted with wide wheels. It is made up of 300 x 150 x 8 mm profile tubes on models 17/50, 22/50 and 27/55, and of 300 x 150 x 10 mm profile tubes on model 27/65 TRM and 34/72TRM. As an option, the standard chassis can be replaced by a narrower one of 700 mm that allows to fit the Trans-KTP with wide wheels (up to 666 mm), while not exceeding a total width of 2.55 m. It also provides a larger steering angle without impacting the power of the braking system or other key elements. The multi stage dump cylinder which is in this case placed in the front position, offers just as much safety and stability as when it is fitted as standard under the body. The Trans-KTP 17, 22 and 27 T are fitted with an “arrow-shaped” drawbar providing high sturdiness and a high steering angle. The drawbar is fastened "far" under the chassis and provides an increased maneuverability and stability in all terrain conditions. This solution offers a straight pull/push line and a large vertical clearance at the eyelet, thereby also absorbing shocks. The drawbar with cross-springs provides an extra driving comfort to the whole carriage.

ALPINA2 Narrow Machine Tapered, Light and Strong Body

The JOSKIN Trans-KTP dump bodies are fully made of 6-mm HARDOX 450 high tensile steel (5 mm on 17/50) that has very interesting elastic characteristics. It returns to its original shape after deformation. Compared to traditional steel, the tensile limit is 5 times higher. All bodies are based on 2 steel sheets, without any linking cross-weld. Thanks to this manufacturing process, the empty weight of these dump trailers is significantly lower and therefore allows to transport higher payloads, without compromising on sturdiness. The tapered shape of the body (8 cm wider at the back) makes sure the contents of the trailer flow out freely. This unmatched property is further reinforced by the successive folds aiming at smoothing off the edges of the body.

All JOSKIN Trans-KTP dump trailers are standard equipped with various pieces of pre-equipment to easily add various options, either at the time of the order or later (even years after the purchase). Among the most interesting options, you can find: welded steel extensions (15 cm-25 cm), covering systems (covers, nets, doors), aluminium extensions to transport your harvests, the automatic lubrication, plus many more!

ALPINA2 Narrow Machine Safe Tipping

The multi stage dump cylinder is assembled on a double oscillating frame fitted with greased bearings and integrated in the chassis in a forward position. This system compensates the torsions due to the dumping strains and effectively protects the hydraulic ram and the body from distortions. The advanced position of the dump cylinder also makes it quicker and easier to dump heavy loads. The back- and upward position of the dump hinges increases the unloading height. The standard safety valve, which is directly placed on the dump cylinder, prevents the body from unexpectedly falling down (e.g. when a hydraulic hose breaks). The first two elements of the multi stage dump cylinder are standard chromed. This anti-rust protection allows the body of the dump trailer to be left tilted backwards, especially during the resting time on a harvesting site, without the risk of rust pitting.

Running Gear

All Trans-KTP 17/50, 22/50 and 27/55 dump trailers are standard fitted with a JOSKIN Cross-Over bogie running gear. Since the bogie table is bolted to the chassis, it can easily be moved horizontally if the event of a change of the hitching height or if one wishes to transfer load to the rear axle of the tractor. The Cross-Over bogie with parabolic leaves is characterised by its large ground clearance, which is ideal for works on construction sites as well as for a good driving comfort. As an option, this Cross-Over bogie can be replaced by a rocker beam (pendulum bogie), which follows the terrain relief perfectly and provides a maximal stability at any time. For those who are looking for a hydraulic running gear for even more comfort, JOSKIN offers its Hydro-Tandem and Hydro-Pendul (triangular system) systems. All triple-axle Trans-KTP 27/65 and 34/72 dump trailers are standard fitted with a Hydro-Tridem running gear, including a hydraulic axle suspension (clearance: +/- 240 mm), a double self-steering system (first and last axles), as well as a front lifting axle (for travels with empty vehicle).
